Moonlight Mushing & Aurora Tour

Rides will begin at 10:15 pm at Trapper Jim’s cabin in front of Aurora Pointe Activity Center, and continue until approximately 12:00 am, with each 30 minute tour running back to back. Two people ride per sled with your musher guide. Arctic Outerwear is provided for the ride, but you must wear your own inner long underwear and fleece layers to stay warm on your ride. A heavy blanket is offered to cover you in the sled. Weight limit per sled is 450 lbs. If your combined weight is higher than 450 lbs. you must book 2 sleds. A surcharge of $50 will apply per single rider.

This is an active tour – all participants should be able to comfortably sit upright with legs extended for the duration of the tour (20-30 mins) and have some tolerance for cold weather. Anyone with back or leg issues may experience discomfort with this activity – please ask if you have questions. We also don’t recommend the tour for young children (under 6).

Mushing Tours will begin at 10:15pm and you will take your turn based on the order in which you signed up. Tours will depart every 30-45 mins. Number of teams will depend on number of guests signed on.
