Paws for Adventure Dogs

Meet some of the Northern dogs who make dog mushing possible

Paws for Adventure sled dogs are Alaskan Huskies from the same northern breed lineages you will find in long distance racing.  Alaskan Huskies are not a pure breed, but have evolved through the years of select breeding into the tough athlete’s of today’s distance sled dogs.  You’ll find them friendly and hardworking.  Just like people, they have their own unique personalities – some boisterous and overbearing, some quiet and shy, some stoic, some possessive, some happy-go-lucky…. We operate with a kennel of approximately 40-50 dogs.  Most belong to Paws, some are on-loan for the season from our long distance racing friends.  All are very special part of our team.
